Ag ionnsachadh/Learning

A word about this blog:

This blog will not be entirely in Gaelic. In fact, most of it will be in English. But I want to make sure that everyone can understand it, so it will always be as bilingual as possible. I will make many mistakes. I'm okay with that. The blog and my Gaelic are both works in progress. As I become more and more fluent, more and more will be in Gaelic.

About how I'm learning:

I've been learning Gaelic for 4.5 years now.

My teacher is Michael MacKay. He is a great teacher... and that will become apparent in my posts, I hope. We have class for an hour once a week through Skype.

I also just finished taking An Cùrsa Inntrigidh through Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. It's a great course. My teachers there are: Earrann 1 and 2: Seumas Grannd, Earrann 3: Beathag Mhoireasdan. I'm now enrolled in An Cùrsa Adhartais, and my teacher is Meg Bateman.

As far as Gaelic singing goes, Mr MacKay is my singing teacher and Mia Pustai my singing coach. I have learned language and songs in workshops and camps from many people over the years.

Thanks to all who have helped me learn Gaelic!

So thems the facts! :) More than just factual information will unfold in posts and will be added in time.
